Electrical distributor Schaedler Yesco Distribution Inc., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday announced a corporate restructuring at the fourth-generation, family-owned distributor.

Greg Schaedler has been named the company’s CEO, succeeding his father, Jim Schaedler, who, after 48 years, has transitioned from the role but will remain active as the company’s chairman of the board. Greg Schaedler most recently served as vice president.

The company, which is coming off the heels of the acquisition of two new locations in 2020 “continues to focus on growth and customer expectations.”

“We are keenly aware that the needs of the market have been changing for some time. Even before disruption from Covid-19, how and where we conducted business was changing,” said the company’s president, Farrah Mittel. “Part of our transformation strategy has been to truly understand our customers’ needs and how we can best serve them; to be customer-centric in all we do.”

As a result, the company announced several internal promotions and new roles as part of the restructure.

The company’s branch business will be the joint responsibility of territory managers (Allen Toth, Gary Meanor, Jim Semyon, Greg Shick and Josh Holly) and customer experience managers (Matt Healy, Aaron Hash, Todd Smith, Adam Moyer and Dave Glowatch).

Other changes include:

  • The Rockwell Automation team is led by John Rambler.
  • Steve Shepps now oversees the company’s construction business as the vice president of construction, assisted by Chad O’Neill, constructions quotations manager, and Chris Levan, energy solutions manager.
  • The Inventory Management Solutions team is now composed of Jim Augenbaugh, business development specialist, Mike Gasper, SIMS operations manager, and Steve Eyler, SIMS administration manager.
  • Cliff Hoff is now operations services lead.

“The team continues to develop programs, services, systems, and tools that enhance our customers’ lives and make their jobs easier,” said Greg Schaedler. “The collective talent and focus of the Schaedler Yesco team are what will allow us to continue our growth path.”
