Pool Corp. (Nasdaq: POOL), Covington, LA, a wholesale distributor of swimming pool and related backyard products, reported third-quarter sales of $1.1 billion, up 26.8% from a year ago. Profit increased 49.8% to $119.1 million.
Sales for the nine months ended Sept. 30 increased 18.4% year-over-year to a $2.6 billion. Profit grew 26.3% to $307.6 million.
