Fastenal Co. (Nasdaq: FAST), Winona, Minnesota, reported January sales of $462.9 million, up 3.6% over the year-ago period. The company reported daily sales of $21 million, up 3.6% versus a year ago.
By region, U.S. sales grew 3.1% in January. By end market, manufacturing sales grew 4.3%, while non-residential construction grew 3.2%, the company said.
